  1. Absolutely stunning pictures! I wasn’t able to get away this summer and so these stunning pictures are very refreshing and much appreciated.

  2. Wow. Amazing pics !! Before you go , pack a sweater but u need not call ur Rov. There R no International dateline issues, coming from America. You may have to wait awhile for Tzeis, tho. My son was there for Shabbos. They made Havdalah, like, 11:30. Otherwise ur fine. Alaska Yarchei Kallah, anyone ?

  3. Can ZFT give us the itinerary he did or anyone does in Alaska? Also (re comment # 6 -jog a thon) wht do people do about where to stay for shaboos there?

  4. Better not show these breathtaking pics in Lakewood. Some of our developers might get itchy seeing all those empty, undeveloped open spaces.

  5. #6-how about a Lakewood Kollel out there? Jog a thon- let’s talk after Maariv to see if we can come up with something. It seems we both would like to go.

  6. @ann. Where to stay ? Good question. When hiking you can sleep in a tent. For Shabbos my son stayed in Anchorage at a family friend. There was a huge Minyan and a gevaldigah Seudah at the local Chabad Shul. You should try it sometime. And so should I.
