The Chofetz Chaim knew that Shmiras Haloshon was the best protection for Klal Yisrael; only if we would have compassion for each other would Hashem have compassion on us. He devoted his life to teaching Klal Yisrael what Hashem wants from us, what the Torah demands of us, what we could do to merit protection and salvation.

At the urging of the Manchester Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Yehudah Zev Segal, zt’l, we at the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation took up this banner 28 years ago. We are the world’s only organization dedicated solely to this purpose, and year after year, it has taken its mission to new levels. As the years have passed, CCHF has initiated many ways of inspiring and teaching both young and old.
