UPDATED: Unattended book bag prompts evacuation at GCU

lpd night stabbing scene tls 007Part of GCU was evacuated this evening after an unattended book bag was discovered at the school, police confirmed. 

The bag was located about 8:15 PM.

The Lakewood Fire Department and EMS are staging at the building and awaiting for a bomb-sniffing K-9 unit to investigate.

UPDATE: The bag has been deemed safe, and students are being allowed back in.
