TLS has received reports of Creepy Clown sightings in Lakewood – and one of them was reportedly armed with a pellet gun.
At abut 11 PM last night, a resident told TLS he spotted two clowns – one with a pellet gun – in the area of the Pinewood Apartments on Lexington Avenue.
The witness said the clowns were wearing a full clown outfit and scary faces. Police were called, but reportedly were unable to locate them.
In a separate incident, a man says he was walking with his family when they were approached by several creepy clowns.
“About 10:45 pm last night, the 2nd night of Rosh Hashanah, while walking my children and grandchildren home down by the lake before entering the N. Lake Dr. path to the bridges by Lake Dr. Terrace, three white male teenagers wearing short pants and clown masks approached us, trying to frighten us,” the resident told TLS.
The resident says “bright lights from Shomrim” were working and lit up the place, and his son scared them off. He said they ran off and disappeared.
The TRPD last week issued a warning about the Creepy Clowns.

Regarding The incident near lake drive TERRACE they were driving a black car with tinted windows and parked by magnolia and North lake dr. They went down towards the lake and came back 10 min. Later and speed off I believe the plate had an F an 5 and a z in it

I’m have a real phobia about clowns, always did; however, this is too funny. If they’re not hurting anyone, so what. Just hope I don’t see them stepping out of the woods. Don’t know about that pellet gun. How was that seen?
