JUST IN: Part of GCU evacuated as authorities investigate “Suspicious circumstance”

Part of the Georgian Court University in Lakewood has been evacuated due to a suspicious circumstance, police confirm to TLS.

“We are investigating a suspicious circumstance and will release more as it becomes available,” Lakewood Police Lieutenant Greg Staffordsmith told TLS.

Lakewood police officers and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department are on scene.
