A man arrested in connected with a Lakewood gunpoint robbery, has been charged in connection with additional armed robberies, as well as the shooting.
Earlier this week we announced the arrest of Fritzley Francois, Tyree Hughes and Da’Sean Donaldson for their involvement in an early-morning armed robbery on November 29th.
Evidence obtained at the time of the arrest, indicated that they may have been involved in additional robberies.
Further investigation revealed that on November 23rd at around 11:45pm, two men, one of which armed with a gun, robbed a 32 year old Lakewood man of his cellphone in the Woodlake Manor complex. This robbery was originally unreported, however, the victim came forward after seeing the story online. As a result Fritzley Francois and Tyree Hughes were charged with Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Bail was set at an additional $100,000 no 10% each.
In addition, evidence also recovered led to charges against Fritzley Francois as the shooter in connection with the early morning Thanksgiving day robbery and shooting of a Maryland man in Highpoint. Although the second suspect in that case has not yet been identified, Francois was charged with the Attempted Murder, Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Bail was set at an additional $200,000 no 10% by Superior Court Judge James Blaney.
