An estimated 10,000 people attended the Levaya of Rebbetzin Salomon in Lakewood, Police Chief Greg Meyer tells TLS.
Despite the massive crowd, there were no reports of any injuries during the approximately three-hour Levaya, and police attribute the success to various organizations involved.
The Chief thanks the Sheriff’s Office, Hatzolah, LCSW, Misaskim, Bikur Cholim, Lakewood First Aid, Chaveirim, as well as BMG Security and Committee, who worked along with the Township’s emergency organizations.
“We worked as a team, and had a smooth well-coordinated event,” the Chief said.
