Definitely looked like Christie thought he was going to be batting 2nd or 3rd to light a candle….then the lane got closed….
What’s the halacha? Is it muttar for him to light in a ceremonial Menorah lighting?

Was a Posek asked if it is Halachically acceptable for an Eino Yehudi to light the Menora. and if yes is it something that is advisable and something Yiddin should Be Persuing

Raboisei take a chill, if you watch the video you will see the Governor lit the shamash and the yehudim lit the rest.

The Governor lit the shamash only. He also gave a very passionate speech about Israel and his deep disappointment with the Obama administration’s actions against Israel – now and for the past 8 years. He deserves appreciation for his strong and consistent support for Israel.
