Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce Launches “Small Business Alliance”; Inaugural Lakewood event next month

[COMMUNICATED] Are you a small business owner? If you answered yes, then you certainly have a lot of the same issues on your mind as other small business owners in your area: markups, inventory management, competition, human resources, etc.

Now, thanks to the Orthodox Chamber of Commerce’s new “Small Business Alliance (SBA)” division, you have a new resource from which to receive guidance and network with others who have similar concerns. The SBA is a fantastic umbrella for small business owners in a particular community to utilize for networking and other tools to advance and prosper. The first SBA chapter to be launched is in Lakewood. Chapters in other major Jewish communities in the New York/New Jersey area and beyond will be launched in the near future. Each chapter will feature general resources and events for small businesses in that community, as well as narrower industry specific resources.

The inaugural SBA event will iy”H take place on Monday, March 20th, 7:30 pm, at Four Corners Bagel and Café’ on James Street. David Rosen, General Manager at Four Corners and former multi-unit licensee and Director of Operations at Starbucks, will be the main presenter at the event. Mr. Rosen will discuss various practical business management issues, and engage in a Q & A with attendees. There will be several other successful businessmen and management professionals at the event. Attendees are encouraged to discuss any other topic on their minds with presenters and other attendees.

“We are excited to bring this incredibly beneficial tool to small business owners and professionals in Lakewood and other communities,” says Duvi Honig, Founder and Director of the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce. “The ability to network, in your own backyard, with business owners and experts who have a real understanding of local dynamics can pay dividends in every aspect of your business.”

Business owners and professionals are encouraged to register in the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce (at no cost) in order to be automatically registered in their local SBA chapter, and receive information and invitations to all Chamber and SBA events.
