We regret to inform you of the sudden Petirah of Reb Meir Roiz Z”L.
Reb Meir Z”L is originally from Boro Park, and moved to Lakewood approximately one year ago. He resided in Pine River Village.
The Niftar, approximately 60, was known as a big Talmid Chachom, and has written several Seforim.
He reportedly suffered a heart attack.
The Levaya will be taking place at 8 PM at the Shomrei Hadas Chapel in Boro Park.
Shiva will be taking place at 21 Goldcrest Drive.

BDE. Terrible shocking news. I was greatly saddened seeing the sign this morning as were the many people who knew Reb Meir. All who knew him had temendous respect for him. Reb Meir was a very unique balabus who learned many hours of the day and was into iyun HaTorah. Whenever I met him he would discuss the sugyos he was involved in at the time. He gave shiurim and wrote a very choshuver sefer on moadim. If I remember correctly, he had told me recently that he was finishing another sefer. A true yid who was focused on the important thing in life. He will be greatly missed.
