VIDEO & PHOTOS: Family, friends and officials gather to pay respect to LCSW Shabbos Patrol member Steve Gordon

Family, friends and officials gathered in Lakewood this afternoon to pay respect to Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch Shabbos Patrol member Steve Gordon, who passed away last Friday.

Steve was the first volunteer to patrol our neighborhoods on Shabbos and his dedication helped keep us safe every week. Today, the Shabbos Patrol he helped initiate consists of 21 devoted Shabbos members.

Steve suffered from an illness for the past three years, and sadly passed away. He was approximately 60 years old.

Senator Bob Singer, Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein, Rabbi Shragy Pinter, and Police Chief Greg Meyer were among officials who spoke at the funeral.
