Man arrested for Terroristic Threats against GCU professor

A man has been arrested for Terroristic Threats against a Georgian Court University professor, Lakewood Police Lieutenant Greg Staffordsmith confirmed to TLS.

Yesterday evening, Officer Matthew Rivera took a report regarding a threat made about a Georgian Court University professor.

Further investigation resulted in the arrest of 31-year old Daniel Klane of Manchester for Terroristic Threats.

The investigation revealed that after a brief verbal confrontation with his 63-year-old teacher, “he publicly made a verbal threat that he wished to cause him significant harm,” Staffordsmith said.

He added, “Initial reports indicated that he may have been armed with a firearm, but that could not be substantiated.”

Daniel Klane was arrested earlier this evening and has since been released pending a future court date.
