Pesach/Spring cleaning: Make the most of used clothing; Deja New donation bin locations

While conducting your Pesach or Spring cleaning, make the best of wearable clothing you no longer need by dropping them off in donation bins around town.

Here’s what Deja New accepts:

“Clothing in excellent condition. Not stained, pilled, worn-out, out of date, etc. What you would feel comfortable wearing or giving to a neighbor. We no longer accept unusable clothing, as rag vendors do not want it any longer.”

Their bins are located at the following locations around Lakewood:

  • Corner 7th and Monmouth Avenue.
  • 1201 River Avenue, (corner River and Chestnut in back)
  • 4th and Madison Ave near Dr. Shanik’s office.
  • James Street co-op parking lot.

When dropping off bags of clothing, please ensure the bags are tied shut.

“On behalf of the thousands of people who benefit, we thank you and wish a chag kasher v’sameach.”

Does anyone know if there is a drop off for not good condition clothing, that could be of benefit for a mosad or a yachid?
