PHOTO: Misameach to Unveil Magnificent New Family Center

That long awaited day is finally here, and for Misameach families it couldn’t come any sooner. Misameach is nearing completion on its magnificent family center, a daunting project undertaken in keeping with their mission to provide respite and joy to the seriously ill and home bound.

The family center is an all encompassing home away from home for patients and their families, where sick children can enjoy a few hours of entertainment and fun, while their parents enjoy some rare respite and relaxation.

The center boasts two rooms specifically designed for maximum comfort and relaxation. One is a game room of sorts, with an endless array of educational activities, games, arcades and so much more. The other room is a lounge, with couches, books, seforim, our famous multimedia library and more, where family members can enjoy a reprieve while their children are entertained.

When its doors open to welcome so many families in our midst, the center will be fully stocked with toys, games and special gifts for children to take home. For the many patients and families Misameach serves, this one-of-a-kind center is a dream come true.
