What do you do when you need to pay your bills? Call 911. Well, not quite, but at least that’s what one Lakewood resident figured.
Officials tell TLS a man phoned 911 for an ambulance last week, and when emergency personnel arrived, the man stated he wanted to be transported to the hospital to pay a bill.
The caller wasn’t transported to the hospital, but personnel managed to guide him to the correct place to call.
Though EMS officials were quite stunned about the call, they say unfortunately they do get such ridiculous calls from time to time.
An EMS official tells TLS they’ve received calls for assistance with fixing a TV, and for setting up a remote.
The biggest issue, says EMS, “is that these vital services are being pulled away from potentially-serious calls.”

Nut case!
A bored man seeking attention.
Its no different then calling chaverim to change your light bulbs. Same stupidity but on a lower level.
Dumb but obviously people don’t understand what emergency really means
