UPDATED – VIDEO & PHOTOS: FAA investigating after Plane crash lands at Lakewood Airport; Pilot, passenger safe

[VIDEO BELOW] A plane has crash landed at the Lakewood Airport moments ago.

At approximately 5:30pm, the Lakewood Police Department was dispatched to the Lakewood Airport for report of an incident regarding a plane.

“Upon arrival we learned that a plane experienced a rough landing while attempting an intentinal landing at the airport,” Detective Lieutenant Greg Staffordsmith says. “There were two occupants that were not injured,” Staffordsmith said.

Lakewood EMS and Fire Department responded for precautionary measures.

The FAA is investigating the incident.
