Tonight at the Township Committee meeting the Lakewood Football Team had their program restored, thanks to the generosity of Mayor Coles and the Township committee.

The football team players and their coaches spoke with the Mayor and Committee members and presented their credentials including :
1-More than 7 graduating seniors who received partial and full scholarships to universities and colleges throughout the United States;
2- Several Junior players (rising seniors ) who have already been awarded scholarships to such places as Temple University in Philadelphia
