The Howell Township Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Country Farms convenience store, located at 947 Rt. 524 (Adelphia Rd) in Howell at approximately 5:40am today.

Howell Police received a 9-1-1 call from the victim/store employee reporting the robbery. Several Howell Police Units were on scene within minutes but were unable to locate the lone suspect. The suspect demanded cash and “Marlboro Red” cigarettes, which the employee provided, while holding the employee at gunpoint with a black semi-automatic handgun. The suspect stuffed the proceeds into a bag and fled the scene. The suspect is a white male wearing a black mask covering his face.

No shots were fired, no assault took place and no one was injured in the robbery. The matter is under investigation by the Howell Police Department Investigations Unit.
