A Lakewood Bachur was seriously injured when a beam fell off a truck, and through the rear window of the vehicle he was riding in, officials say.
The accident occurred shortly after 2 PM this afternoon on MLK Street.
Sources say the truck carrying the beam stopped behind the green vehicle, sending the object sliding off the truck and into the car’s rear window, striking the Bachur in his head. He was reportedly unconscious.
Hatzolah Paramedics treated the Bachur on scene, and then transported him to JSUMC.
Lakewood Police Department’s Traffic Safety Division is investigating the accident.
