Despite turning down the position just days ago, Attorney Michael Inzelbuch has moments ago accepted the offer to serve as the Lakewood Board of Education Counsel.
The move comes after the Attorney said he wouldn’t take the position – the way the Board stood at the time.
Since his announcement, Iann has left the Board, and the Superintendent’s three-year contract was approved, as earlier reported on TLS.
The Lakewood Mosdos and school officials are hoping that Inzelbuch, a special education expert, will be able to turn the district around and help it climb out of the multi-million dollar deficit it finds itself in.
Since leaving the Board several years ago, Inzelbuch has successfully sued the district dozens of times.

Has anyone noticed that the Superintendent no longer faces the audience at meetings? It appears that she is hiding behind the Business Administrator so no one sees her. Hopefully Michael will change that. It is only right for her to look at people when they address concerns to her.

The district justifies it because now that he is on their side they won’t be paying out million dollar judgments each year.
