FIRST REPORT: Judge orders Tied Lakewood Fire District Election placed on November Ballot

A County judge moments ago has ordered the tied Lakewood Fire Commissioner elections placed on the November elections ballot, TLS has learned.

This is reportedly the first time in New Jersey that a fire district election will be placed on a General Election ballot.

The unusual event comes after a seat in the February election was tied between former member Larry Loigman, and newcomer Denise Gregory. They both received 384 votes.

The other Commissioner seat went to Avi Lieber.

  1. Vote for Larry. He has been in the forefront in fighting for the tzibure as a pro bono attorney for the Agudah etc. He is always ready to fight for Yiddishkeit and for our community. (moderated)

  2. I second that. I have seen first hand how Larry has helped individuals on multiple occasions, oftentimes pro bono. He has earned my vote and support.

  3. I’m still kicking myself for not going to vote last time. Larry, I will bli neder not waste my second chance. Have a ksiva vchasima tova!
