  1. Was just as kimball . A dozen emergency vehicles there . They have five gunshot victims there . Kimball ER Parking lot was blocked off as a crime scene .

  2. FYI Lakewood Police is not responding to non-emergency calls due to being overwhelmed. I called to report a noise violation and that’s what they told me.

  3. Amazing. They are all so busy that there is not one officer to come tell the people who have a band with loudspeakers blaring music at 12.20 am to stop. Is there anyone in town who can help??????

    • Its a big problem in Lakewood, the same houses every weekend, if the cops would start issuing a summons the problem would stop. the rule should be if cops are called to a home more than once in 90 days they get an automatic summons

    • Their “Purim” is every other Saturday night and on the off weeks it’s a different neighbor trying to wake up the dead with their music.

I personally have not heard Purim music blasting past midnight.

    • If the music persists we won’t have the gift of hearing. Please explain to me how I can put earplugs in my 6 month and 2 year old children. I can’t speak for “south side”, but this is about my children not being able to sleep… I have no problems turning on the fan to block out the noise.

  4. It is highly likely that Jews were not the peeps at this get together. Probably the usual suspects. Too bad the Star Ledger only sees the bed in some Jews, while giving other groups a free pass because SL doesn’t want to hurt the other group’s feeling. For the record I am not a Jew.

    • This happens to be the type of news we ARE unfortunately accustom to. Those that transgress do not care about anyone’s “feelings”, and that includes any group that they represent, or are a part of…right down to family and loved ones. The assailants here, are no exception and rule profiling.

  5. No indication of terrorism or antisemitism. That is a relief…if shootings have any positives at all! Wishing the victims a speedy recovery too.

  6. You’re worrying about the wrong thing. So what the music was loud, the park was still open.People were shot.At least no one was killed.I live in Baltimore and right now the homicide rate is 209 ppl since the year started. The problem is getting these guns off the streets.Hope everyone has a speedy recovery.
