Board of Education Extends Hours of Designated Title 1 Nonpublic Services

The Lakewood Board of Education has extended the hours of Designated Title 1 Nonpublic Services, Attorney Inzelbuch said.“In an effort to better serve nonpublic high school students who are eligible for designated for nonpublic Title 1 Basic Skills to promote academic achievement for “At Risk “ and failing children of nonpublic schools services have been extended to commence, when needed, until 10 pm,” Inzelbuch said. (The remainder of the Federal and State requirements still apply.)

Inzelbuch added, “This is yet another example where when the details are reviewed the Board, Superintendent, and the State Monitors can and have worked together in the best interest of the kids.”
