The Lakewood Unity Contest is well underway at the Lakewood Public Schools.

The contest, sponsored by Scoop Outdoor and Attorney Michael Inzelbuch, is engaging students throughout the School District, and bringing an excitement to the classroom and art classes.

In this video, see how teacher Mr. Francia demonstrates for the students how to incorporate imagery to accompany the Lakewood Piner Logo, how to apply correct color schemes the relate to logo design, characteristics of a logo design, how to incorporate the theme of unity and diversity within the designs and more.

The First Place winners in each category will receive $100.00 and have their LOGO displayed on the Scoop Outdoor’s digital billboard, which is located on Cedarbridge and Hurley Avenue.

The Second Place winners in each category will receive $50.00.

In addition, students with the winning LOGOs will be honored at the December 12, 2017, Board of Education meeting.
