BREAKING: Township Committee passes Master Plan after 2nd reading

The Master Plan of has been approved moments ago following the second reading by the Township Committee.

Approximately 20 people showed up to meeting, several of whom addressed the Committee regarding the density in town, property taxes and more.

Three of the four committeeman voted for it. One committeeman was absent.

The Master Plan sets the rules for the town’s growth for the next 10 years.

  1. I watched the meeting and was quite shocked. I’m not against people speaking up, but where is the derech eretz and Kiddush hashem? Can we not make the same point with a refined way of speaking? It was very embarrassing.

  2. Like I’ve said many times in the past, it’s only okay when you want to build but not when your neighbor or friends and family from NY want to build?

    Obviously people are moving here because Lakewood is a beautiful town to live in.

  3. A bunch of angry people who will never be happy no matter what the commitee will do.
    The commitee thank gd didn’t fall for all these false agendas.
