  1. Glad it will help the camps. Did they think about the neighbors that live nearby who will have to deal with the traffic, people walking through properties and the noise of all the loudspeakers announcing all the carpools and the most geshmake team that minute??
Perhaps they should rent out the playground in all the developments as well? Great way to support the local community center.
Please keep in mind the people living nearby. Something to think about.
    Thank you.

  2. Really Spruce Street!?! – it’s public property being used in the best way possible. Why the negativity? All playgrounds in developments are privately owned because they were paid for by those who own there. Public schools, even the Spruce street school, is owned by the entire Lakewood. It’s not owned by those that live on Spruce Street. Let’s not be too selfish.

  3. Hi All, I did not mean to heat everyone up was just raising a point that there is another side to this as there is to everything.
The houses here for the most part were actually built before the public school opened.
My point was that the area is heavily populated with traffic during the year and we enjoy the brief time off in the summer.
    Hope you can understand.
