[COMMUNICATED] Hi, You may not know me. But here’s what I can say with certainty: you know someone like me. That’s because one in every five individuals suffers from mental and emotional issues. The neighbor you sat next to at the shul melave malka, the old friend you met at your cousin’s wedding, your favorite niece – they are all grappling with issues they will never tell you about.
Where do you turn when you feel like you just can’t manage anymore? When the pain is so great and no one can see it? When the world outside smiles brightly but all you feel is a throbbing ache you can hardly describe? Who do you call for advice when you feel so desperate that you dread waking up tomorrow? For me and thousands more like me, the answer is: Relief Resources.
Approximately 300 Lakewood residents like me call Relief every single month for support, guidance, and advice. Their trained referral specialists take the time to get to know us. They search their detailed database for the right clinicians to help us. They are with us throughout the entire process, acting as a liaison between our families and providers, advocating for insurance, holding our hands, and following up to ensure that we are receiving the best treatment.
Relief is our lifeline.
Not long ago, people like me were all alone with nowhere to turn. Today, with Relief’s help, I am thriving!
Take a look around. Count five people. One of them may very well be just like me.
It’s the support of people like you that continue to change my life, day after day. The zechus for you and your family will be tremendous.
Thank you for making a difference.
Sincerely,
Your neighbor, friend or relative
