Juvenile threatens to blow up Lakewood shop

A juvenile is believed to be behind a threat to blow up a shop in Lakewood today, police tell TLS.

Police responded to the Jewish-owned shop on Kennedy Boulevard shortly after 2 PM, after a man reportedly phoned the shop and said he’ll be blowing the place up within the hour.

Detective Lieutenant Greg Staffordsmith tells TLS it was “believed to be a prank call by a juvenile, with no serious threat.”

  1. Technically speaking after what happened in Parkside, FL last week with the shooting, this isn’t something to take lightly & definitely they should have traced the call & arrested him, they found threat comments on YouTube by the shooter last week, we must crack down on terrorism
