PHOTOS: ParaFlight EMS partners with one of the largest medical aviation Companies in the U.S., bringing the first licensed air ambulance to Teterboro Airport

ParaFlight EMS, under the direction of Founder and CEO paramedic Sim Shain and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mark A. Merlin, held a training session with their personnel in Teterboro Airport yesterday, announcing the recent partnership with one of the largest air medical aviation companies in the U.S. This will bring the first and only licensed air ambulance based in Teterboro airport, covering NYC, NJ and surrounding states.

“This gives us the ability to be “wheels up” very quickly with our own doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists and paramedics on board,” says Dr. Mark A. Merlin.

One unique component that ParaFlight offers, is their roster of 15 flight physicians and 50+ physicians in every sub specialty that they can send on any flight.

In the coming weeks, the company is expected to announce access to two larger air ambulances that will allow them to fly patients anywhere in the world, including England, Israel and beyond.
