Are you caring for a parent or spouse with memory issues or dementia? Are you looking to improve the quality of their days?

LCSC, in conjunction with Lev Rochel Bikur Cholim, will be hosting “Connecting with Kavod”, a support seminar for caregivers.  The workshop will be presented by Marla Kurtz, CTRS, CEO of Ray of Sunshine, who is renowned for her work designing and implementing therapeutic recreation programs for individuals suffering from memory loss and dementia.

Her programs teach caregivers how to motivate and stimulate their elderly loved ones. Through participating, engagement, and stimulation, individuals can regain their sense of self worth and pride and decrease their anxiety and depression.

The seminar will be held Tuesday Feb 13 at 8 pm at Lev Rochel Bikur Cholim, 93 Prospect Street. Parking is available in the adjacent lot.
