  1. LPD traffic and safety should require all school buses that service Lakewood twnshp to have on board cameras that automatically activate and record 30 seconds prior to an emergency event and 30 seconds after the event occurred. Just like New Jersey Transit buses have on board. This way traffic and safety can fully monitor bus operators Behavior. BTW cool photo from the head on shot.

  2. Who is the one that will give din vecheshbon for always putting children in sakana in this kind of weather? Its time for this town to finally realize that the supremecy of Torah means being normal. For we really need something chv”s to happen in order to stop this gaava of being able to say “we have school even when its a sakana”

  3. Apparently commenter “U achshell” went to a school that canceled too many times… maybe CAUTION should be taken and school should alway be in session.

  4. Wow… everyone is singing a different tune now.

When they cancel school because of a few inches, everyone is blaming LSTA from being too precautios.

And now, when this happens, “Use caution and cancel school”.

  5. Maybe Lakewood should start having a delay opening on these icy snowy mornings like all the other schools!! Stop trying to cram in all the public and non-public schools together. This town needs to straighten things out.

  6. This is exactly why public-school teachers like myself drove to work this morning while scratching our heads wondering why on earth we didn’t have a delayed opening. Lakewood wins the “not using any common sense” award yet again
