2. The roads were not safely driveable this morning. I dont think that the private guys with small plows can be expected to do the job as well as the large township trucks. Many of them have no clue.

3. They did an incredible job. I suspect anyone that says otherwise probably lives in a development and didn’t make the effort to park in a driveway (or of course it wasn’t developed properly)

4. Was fun watching the plow on my block last night, he was trying pretty hard to clean but kept angling the plow the wrong way so he had to redo the circle a few extra times

5. Can we get Dpw to finish Devash ct they turned around halfway down the block so only half the block is plowed thx

Don’t know enough about the whole job but driving last night on Rt 9 – was a nightmare and when i got home to Carey/11/12/13 were all blocked off by the plows that had plowed route 9 and left all the snow in the middle of the side street turns-finally got through on 9th and then went around to forest to get into my street.

   • Yea genus your not supposed to be driving during a snow storm

11. They came down our block at least 4 different times. Did an amazing job each time & kept the street pretty clear through the snow which was amazing & made for an easier clean up this morning. Anyone who had a pressing need to get out was able to do so without major issues. We had small pickup truck plows & they went back and forth a few times till it was really well done. Thanks for an amazing job!!!!

14. The numbered cross streets in the downtown business district were not were cleared this morning (7:00/7:30am). Neither was Lexington Avenue. Route 9 was barely one lane wide, though I suspect that DPW employees and contractors are not responsible for this road.

15. I didn’t go any where yet, but when I looked out my window this morning my street was all clean. I don’t know about the rest of Lakewood. Anyway by now it must be all melting. It’s a balmy 39 degrees.

20. Westgate was horrible I saw a bunch of buses getting stuck and they use tractors to plow they didn’t do a good job but the rest of the streets that I went on were very good

27. Thank you! Great job. They were through our development quite a few times last night and early morning. Quite a few years back, our street looked like the moon for weeks and weeks. Not the last few years, however. Again: thank’s for your hard work. It’s appreciated.

30. Dvash Court was very sticky, was really not easy to plow, shemen on the other hand was pretty slick.
