  1. Vaccines are mandated, imperative and required. Anyone who doesn’t permit their children to receive them, harms their own children and places other children in harms way.

  2. Vaccines are good. Usually. But for some ppl they’re not.
There really is no one answer.
But Im sure this call-in Conference from LCRC will clarify this situation, shed light on both sides of the arguement and help ppl make an informed decision on this very important topic.

  3. Vaccines ARE good. But why do the doctors give so many at a time. Wouldn’t it be easier for the child’s body especially babies to handle less at a time…?

  4. This is ridiculous. A few incompetent parents claiming to be experts decide to form a group refusing to vaccinate their children. They have the audacity to try and force their unvaccinated children on us. They need to be arrested for child abuse.

  5. How many times to we need to revisit the same topic. As one esteemed family friend Dr told me, the Dr’s against vaccines are a radical part of a fringe group of Dr’s. As we all say, those that know the least talk the most. It doesn’t have to make sense scientifically, rather emotionally.

  6. This “group” that is making noise now about vaccines claims they have community leaders behind them .

    Let’s be clear !
The only opinions that matter in this debate are the medical professionals. who spend years of their lives researching this topic.
And if anyone says that they are biased , next time your child needs medical attention, please see your local community leader !!

    • did you personally see the doctors spending years of their lives independently researching vaccines?

it amazes me how people make comments representing them as though they are factual, when it comes to the vaccine choice people whatever they say they are challenged to bring “scientific proof”

Yet you have no problem making a statement without bringing scientific proof that doctors have spent their “entire lives” researching this topic. actually doctors have not spent their entire lives researching this topic. They may read medical journals all of their lives but these journals are all sponsored by big pharma and so they will not know anything outside of what big pharma wants them to know (conflict of interest anyone?).

Doctors (and there are several not just in Lakewood but throughout the US there is actually an organization of such doctors) who don’t follow the CDC guidelines and don’t vaccinate their patients have said on the reocrd that in medical school the doctors are taught that vaccines are safe and are a necessary part of public health. furthermore they should ignore the drug company insert because that information is just for legal purposes”.

so “mike small” please from here forward only make statements that you can support with scientific proof

  7. Vaccines are good to protect you. I had the chicken pox, mumps, and measles as a child because there were no vaccines then. The only vaccine available at the time was actually the oral one to prevent polio. It was a sugar cube with the vaccine medicine on it. I have had to get tetanus shots at times over the years after being injured. I always get a yearly flu shot, too. However I usually get 3 to 4 flu shots per year. I do not mind privately paying for them. I space out my flu shots about a month apart. Why do I do this? It takes at least 2 weeks for a flu shot to be effective. Plus,I have the opinion that some batches of flu shots might be more effective later in the season. I have not had the flu or even a cold in at least 20 years.

  8. I don’t understand why the people that feel vaccines cause autism are making a movement, they can choose not to vaccinate themselves but why are they pushing their agenda??

  9. Dovid, they are pushing an agenda because a lot of schools and camp require an immunization form that documents that the child received the required vaccinations. The effectiveness of these vaccines is what gives way to these totally foolish uneducated self-centered people! They obviously don’t understand the history behind these vaccines. Countless individuals and institutions have devoted decades of research to come up with these life saving vaccines. One epidemic חלילה will quit these uneducated fools.

  10. Everyone Relax. Instead of bashing the whole world who doesn’t agree with you here, let’s join in tonight’s conversation and talk about it!

  11. The vaccines, the chemical aerosols sprayed daily in the skies… even though it might seem like people are sicker this year more then ever.. YOU MUST NEVER Question. its all for your own safety and protection….

  12. I see.
Even with the vaccine there is a small percentage of still getting infection and it is the general herd effect that affords the protection.
Therefore if our schools change their mind and allow the opposed minded into our schools we should make an even bigger deal against it.

  13. Would dr offit or dr Shanik be willing to debate the opposing side? Perhaps we can arrange a respectful public debate so the public can hear both sides of the issue? Just an idea…
