  1. Don’t forget to have an entertaining talk show once in a while too! We need to get people away from listening to treif nonsense on the well known stations

  2. can there also be shmuzin from inspiring main stream darshanim? like reb Don Segel? or reb Avigdor Miller? Reb Druk” Reb Gamlial, etc.. or will they also feature only very American speakers, don’t us yeshivaleit also deserve something?

  3. “Entertainment isn’t Jewish” ??? Comments like this from someone who identifies themselves as “Former Lkwd Kid” is a sad indication of the problem with chinuch today. Having fun and enjoying one self is Assur! Having a good time is for goyim! HKB’H wants you to sit in the B’M all day even if you don’t feel good about yourself! What a tragedy! Foolish entertainment is not Jewish but kosher entertainment that makes you feel good can be the catalyst that catapults you to great heights! Indeed even the classic mussar sefer Orchos Tzadikim writes that a person needs to be b’Simcha and that if having a drink will help then go for it!

    • Am I the only one to notice that the past few years, so called Yeshivish chasunas have too often grown from the one man band, who also sings a little to help the Hartzige singingof the participants ,or has a friend or relative sing, to a Huge band and a “singer”. The band charges exorbitantly, and the singer charges more than any of the good one man bands. When I heard what they were asking from the father of the Chasan, I asked when they were going to start playing and singing. The whole night sounded like the band was tuning their instruments, and the singer needed a glass of hot tea. I did not hear a single Yeshivish Niggun all night! A few years ago, I passed the scene of the rehearsals for the ? 25th reunion of the Woodstock concert, and it sounded better!
I noticed most of the Roshei Yeshiva, some of whom were known to stick around, had disappeared early. Just to date myself a little, I remember Jack Benny, who played the violin expertly, used to make Choizek by playing just a little off tune.

  4. It seems like it’s an app … would really be awesome if someone can put together a FM or AM frequency that ranges throughout the Tri state with minimal ads and JUST PLAIN OLD MUSIC!

  5. And on that note a second FM or AM station with speeches from well known speakers (eg R YY Jacobson)
THIS IS SOMETHING THAT THE YIDDISHE VELT IS MISSING
