Authorities searching for missing woman in Lakewood [UPDATED – LOCATED]

The Lakewood Police Department is seeking the public’s help in trying to locate a 76-year-old Lakewood woman who wandered away from her home a short while ago.
The woman is described as a black female, approximately 5’2″ tall, 110 lbs and last seen wearing her pajamas.

“We have reason to believe she may be in the downtown or Lake Carasaljo area,” police said.

A K9 is assisting in the search.

Anyone with information is urged to immediately contact the Lakewood Police Department at 732-363-0200.

UPDATE: The woman has been found, walking on Route 9.
