Committeeman D’Elia looks to get solar lights installed along a Lake Carasaljo path

The walking bridge in middle of the Lake Carasaljo is still in the works (as earlier reported), but in the meantime, a path at the lake could get an upgrade – solar lights.

Committeeman D’Elia tells TLS the path along the western part of the lake – which runs between North and South Lake – is dark, and poses a safety hazard.

The solar lights being looked into, says D’Elia, could last four days without sun.

D’Elia says he will present the idea to the Committee during the next Township meeting.

    Thank You!
This is something that is desperately needed. Even when the township or Chaverim put up light towers, it doesn’t fully light up the path and very often they are not turned on!
I know there has been many attempts to get this done in the past. I hope this one is more successful!

On the north Lake to walk down the path when nobody see them,
Finish the missing 3/4 of a mile paved sidewalk
    – it will solve that problem thank you

  3. Hopefully they will never put a walking bridge over the lake. Anyone that is aware of what goes on Shabbos afternoon by the lake will agree that this can make things a lot worse. Hashem Yaazor.
