    I beg to differ with the Halacha mentioned. The brocha should be recited in Nissan but it’s not b’dieved to do it in another month especially if the buds come out so late (like this year). As mentioned in Kovetz Halachos by R’Shmuel Kamenetzky Shlita, in V’zos Habracha and in other sforim, when the Gemara says Nissan, it’s Zman Nissan when the buds (flower part) come out. But if the buds come out late or if the buds are still there in Iyar, you can say it then too

    595 warren. many fruit trees in back yard currently blooming. fruit trees in front yard not yet in bloom

    FYI, The Halacha is that you need to see blossoms (flowers) not buds in order to make the Bracha.

    The apple tree at 1454 Ardenwood has died, sorry, but there are also grapevines there. I’m not sure the brocho is recited on grapevines because they don’t actually bloom. Consult someone who might know.
