  1. Josh- I enjoyed the recap. As someone who fully supports the Mueller investigation, I would respectfully like to submit my opinion.

“Spy” generally implies political or competitive research, “informant” implies work being done on behalf of law enforcement. I don’t know when this was recorded, but we now know that the extent of the “spying”, as you call it, was just calling and asking if the Trump team was trying to work with Russia. Seeing as we are now up to 17 indictments and 5 guilty pleas (and surely more to come) from the Mueller investigation, we know the answer to that question. After the intelligence briefing yesterday, even Mitch McConnell now supports Mueller’s special investigation. As they say in law school- “If you have the facts, pound the facts. If you have the law, pound the law. If you have neither the facts nor the law, pound the table.” This little fracas is simply Trump pounding the table.

  2. @esperanza..It’s nice to take a textbook view of the events at hand from what appears on the surface. To cut through a very long chase, I, too, would like to respectfully submit my opinion.

From the time Trump announced his candidacy, through the primaries, into the election, and well into his presidency, there are countless paid, organized, and highly skilled professionals from the career D.C. establishment, both the Dems and GOP, ex-powerful presidential families, Soros, and other assorted haters who ate relentlessly trying to sabotage our current prrsidency.

Why? Trump changed the game. Trump stepped on big toes. Old-time Washington curries no favor with Trump. They despise the democracy. And we voted for Trump, in part, because we had it with them.

Trump’s guilt regarding Russian collusion may as well have him seen as guilty because his dining halls serve Russian dressing, for all Mueller cares.

I won’t up the truly serious ills of the past few administrations because we won, and they are gone. Let them scratch and claw from behind the scenes. What else can they do? I don’t think we will ever see a Dem or eztablishment president again. That is how bad they were.
