  5. One of the finest gentlemen I’ve ever had the privilege to know.

We first met when I was 9 and he was 12 as Biddy League Basketball teammates.

He sat in my late grandfather’s chair at Congregation Sons of Israel always encouraging me to join him.

Years ago we tried a memorable case together in Superior Court Ocean County in front of the late Judge Huber in which we each represented Muslim clients involved in a dispute with one another.

Steve’s quite eloquence spoke loudly. He will be sorely missed.
