PHOTOS: Chopper lands on GSP after serious accident; Traffic Alert

A serious accident has shut one of the northbound lanes on the Garden State Parkway this afternoon.

The accident occurred shortly before 1 PM before exit 131.

A chopper has landed on the highway for transport.

There are heavy delays in the area.
