Sneak peek of the Lakewood Hatzolah video ahead of the Vchai BaHem Asifa

The V’chai Bahem Asifa will be held in Ateres Chana Hall, Motzaei Shabbos parshas Ki Sitzei, the designated Shabbos Hatzolah.

Hatzolah is known as one of the leaders in response time and EMT proficiency in the country, but there’s more. One of the amazing, but rarely discussed aspects of our Hatzolah team is the constant concern they have for doing their avodas hakodesh in complete accordance with the mandates of halachah. When dealing with life and death circumstances, with mere moments, sometimes even  seconds, to make literal critical decisions, our members still strive to only do what the Torah wants from them. They spend hours learning the intricacies, coming to regular weekly shiurim, analyzing incredibly serious scenarios and planning their courses of action.

“Hatzolah of Lakewood is a trailblazer in this area, and our material, under the leadership of Rabbi Moshe Rotberg in consultation with our Va’ad Harabanim, is used by Hatzolah branches across the country,” says Hatzolah. “We are proud to be known for not only saving lives but being true bnei Torah and ovdei Hashem — no matter what the circumstances — while we’re doing it.”

A special delegation representing Hatzolah visited the gedolei haposkim of Eretz Yisrael to discuss some serious questions that are omeid al haperek. They visited with Maran Sar HaTorah Hagaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlit”a, the Poseik HaDor and Raava”d, HaRav Hagaon Rav Moshe Sternbuch Shlit”a, Hrh”g Rav Yitzchak Zilberstein Shlit”a, Hrh”g Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg Shlit”a, Hrh”g Rav Sariel Rosenberg Shlit”a and Hrh”g Rav Moshe Shaul Klein Shlit”a.

The visits were filmed and will be shared at the Asifa. This exclusive footage will be viewed by the thousands of attendees who will be joining to show their support for the members.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the fascinating questions that were posed:

  • If someone has an emergency at home on Shabbos, should he try to find a neighborhood Hatzolah member or should he not take a chance and call for help right away?

  • A child is locked in a car on a very hot day and Hatzolah broke into the car to save him, but immediately afterwards someone came with keys. Now the father wants the Hatzolah member to pay for car damages. Does he have to?

  • A Hatzolah member who is responding to call on Shabbos and on the highway back, he needs to use restroom, can he stop?

  • And more!

Don’t miss these incredible answers from the gedolim of our times!

Supporting this monumental event is a unique way to further not only hatzolas nefashos, but harbatzos haTorah.

There will be sponsorship opportunities for the backdrop of the dais, podium signs, lobby signage, pre-event advertising, on the commemorative and explanatory printed material, and of course, on the videos themselves.
