Question:

Dear Mayor,

Recently there was a letter discussing the park on Canterbury Rd. You said some items were back ordered and that once everything arrives they will resume redoing the park. I would like to thank you as I see they have been working the past week or so to get the park all redone.

I am writing regarding the path that leads to the Canterbury Park from Tanglewood. It seems that this piece of township owned land has been forgotten. It is in a constant state of disarray and in need of care. There’s weeds growing there, branches sticking out, a broken fence, etc.. This is a very used path and really needs some TLC from the township consistently. Sometimes it’s the neighborhood kids that trim the bushes and cut the grass in the path. It would really be good if the township can pave the path but that might be asking for too much. It’s extremely difficult to wheel carriages or ride bikes on the path in the condition that it is in.

Good morning,

I’m happy to hear that work has begun. I have asked our Public Works Director to look at the path and surrounding area to see what we can do to get it cleaned up and make the area more accessible for neighboring residents.
