UPDATE: Judge authorizes Aaron Lang’s Lakewood school funding case to move forward

Judge Susan M. Scarola this afternoon ruled in support of Aaron Lang’s four-year legal challenge for changing the State’s school funding formula.

The State had sought to dismiss the case.

“He has petitioned the State to change the funding formula which severely shortchanges Lakewood’s 40,000 students – including 35,000 Cheder and Bais Yaakov students attending 120-plus Mosdos,” says Rabbi Moshe Zev Weisberg. “The case will now go forward to a full resolution, I”YH.”
