Lakewood Township Manager Thomas Henshaw has resigned, TLS has learned.
“I really enjoyed my time working with Tom,” Mayor Ray Coles told TLS. “He made a lot of improvements for the Township, and I’m going to miss working with him both personally and professionally.”
No reason was given for the resignation, and Henshaw did not immediately respond to request for comment.
When pressed for further comment, Mayor Coles said it’s a personnel issue, which he could not comment on.
Henshaw served as Township Manager for approximately five years, following the resignation of the previous manager Mike Muscillo.
A replacement is expected to be announced in the coming days.
Such a shame and a gigantic loss for the township. Wish you nothing but the best, Tom!
