  1. Please refrain from other discussion. Let be happy for family that he was found. He like our son or brother. Let Praised Hashem for great news.

  2. I think it’s crucial and a chiyuv on the family to let the tzibbur know all the details of what happened. People Davend and now it’s time to reap the rewards

    • If you want some entertainment go watch a football game. Or go grab an ice cream. Why you would want to encroach on somebody’s private life so you can be entertained is beyond me.

  3. I just want to thank TLS for their sensitivity and professionalism when reporting on this story.
I am not connected to the family in any way (besides for my tefillos) and I’m sure that this was a very difficult ordeal for them. As is, Anyone in my situation doesn’t know any information other than that he was missing and now he was found. That is the way it should be. I don’t need to know all the details and neither does anyone who is not involved, it would just be ‘hock’ and something for people to gossip about. Let the family have their privacy.

  4. The tefilos that were shared by all of klal Yisrael from this are awe inspiring.

May they serve as a zechus for all of us as a whole!

I have to admit I feared the worst and didnt sleep last night. I was sure there wouldnt be a happy ending and joined with others to pour our hearts out hoping my feelings were wrong.

What a relief to know he is safe and sound BH… those tefilos will stand as a protection.

  5. I’m going to assume and be Dan lkaf zechus that the commenter @must know was being sarcastic and pointing out how silly people sound who ask these questions. I hope I’m right.

  6. looks like there are a lot of bored people out there go find somthing better to do with life than worry about other people life story Did any of you thank hashem he was found safe and sound ???????????????????????????

  7. To all those that “need” to know. Why is your need based on other than curiosity? Put yourself in the families shoes and think of the pain any conversation will bring them and compare that to your “need”. I am also curious to know the story, but understand and respect the right and NEED for the privacy of the family.

To Shadchan – when the shidduch it’s rest to your daughter then you will have a genuine need and can request more information. Otherwise, it is just curiosity and should be ignored.
Kudos to Penina for putting it in perspective. To loosely quote her – We don’t want people to be afraid to ask for help out of fear of ensuing gossip.

  8. Last I checked, journalism was about the Who, What, Why, When, and Where of a story. People want to know.
In this case, people davened and had terrible fears for days. What happened? Where was he? I assume they are embarassed to share, and the alleged non-nosey have a fake agenda.

  9. Sorry, the CH”CH says that all Hilchos Lashon Hora pertain to journalism also, and that a Jew may not have such a job if it requires him to write lashon hora.
As many are writing, there is absolutely no need for anyone to know details – what for? B”H he was found, and that definitely had to do with everyone’s tefillos! What more can anyone want?! Moreover, NO ONE has ANY idea what’s going on. Please see the book ‘The other Side of The Story – by Artscroll for many limud zechus stories. You will be amazed about how often a story seems so obvious, and yet it is totally the opposite of what one thought. Let this be the great outcome of this story. TY
