Not vaccinated? Don’t come to Shul – at least to some Shuls in Lakewood.
In wake of the Measles Outbreak in Lakewood, letters from several area Shuls went out today asking unvaccinated Misapallelim to not come to Shul – both adults or children.
The Measles outbreak in Lakewood already confirmed four cases, with others pending.
Is there a list of the shuls so I know where I can daven and be safe
if you are vaccinated you are safe – you should not be worried about people not vaccinated!
You are safe anywhere that hashem is! I think you have done enough to make sure that you are vaccinated no need to follow anyone else around you.
just wondering, does that include all the adults? should we all go out and check our titers? my 20 year old daughter WHO WAS VACCINATED got her titers checked for her job AND WAS NOT PROTECTED AT ALL !!! what about the janitor and cleaning lady? what about the electrician? the plumber? the AC guy? and lets not forget the appliance guy!
This is all a coordinated effort with someone in the background to finally force people to conform and go against what they understand and would not rather do. Absolutely absurd.
Finally sanity is prevailing.

If you had MMR, you are 80% likely to be immune to measels, or 20% likely to get it! There is no garrante that you won’t get sick, so you still need to daven to Hashem to be protected! Now, why should you try to exclude unvaccinated from your minyan? They are more likely to get sick, but they are also davening to same HKB”H as you, and probably have stronger kavona, because they know that it is all up to Him! They don’t believe that vaccines are proper ishtadlus. This issue is not as simple as CDC wants you to think. Vaccines are no lollipops, they have side effects, some are mild and some are life changing! You can’t get away without tefilah either way! Don’t rely on anyone but HKB”H for your protection!!!
so, some of you decide that you rely only on HKBH which means that the bracha we make upon seeing a great doctor is null and void –שנתן מחכמתו לבשר ודם–has no meaning because why give doctors the chochma to invent vaccines if they are totally unnecessary, or you also have the right to ignore the schools and shuls who tell you to stay home. which is it?
FYI, if you get the vaccine, it has a 97% effective rate. And if you dont, you might be killing cancer patients like me who have to be reimmunized, and dont have immunity yet.
