Dovid Egert, a Lakewood resident and U.S. Army Chaplain, was awarded by the Army for his efforts in Eastern Europe.
Egert, who worked for the Department of Public Works, received Smicha from Yeshiva Pirchei Shoshanim – an endorser of chaplains to the U.S. Military whose main body of Talmidim work full time.
