Statement from Rabbi Moshe Zev Weisberg on passing of Freeholder Bartlett

Rabbi Moshe Zev Weisberg this evening releases to TLS the following statement of the passing of Freeholder John C. Bartlett.

The Lakewood community is saddened to hear of the passing of our good friend and County leader, Mr. John Bartlett.

On behalf of the Lakewood community and the Lakewood Vaad, I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the entire Bartlett family. Freeholder Bartlett was a colleague, friend and mentor to
us all. His warmth and care knew no bounds and his dedication to serve Ocean County was genuine, sincere and contagious. He will always be remembered for all that he stood for and his notable accomplishments. He will be sorely missed.

We mourn with his family and friends and thank him for all the years of service and dedication to Ocean County. May he rest in peace.

Rabbi Moshe Zev Weisberg
