  1. its very sad, but the truth is, this really should of been told to all those moving into Toms River or lakewood from out of state as they were moving in. The askanim or realtors that are dealing with the mas influx of outer towners into our community should make them aware of the dangers they may not be aware of back in Brooklyn, As well as the halachik rulings of our rabonim-no Eiruv across Rt 9.This will avoid accidents and misunderstanding!

    • They did. I remember that this was publicized and you would always see R’ Yeruchom wearing a reflector. I don’t know if this is still the case. That’s the problem. The urgency wears off and the public has to be reminded again and again. Although I would think that as adults, one reminder should be enough.

  2. I was driving in the Spruce/Vine area in Lakewood last week and I almost didn’t see an elderly frum man in dark clothes crossing at a particularly dark section. I stopped the last minute! Please tell your husbands, sons, fathers, and FIL’s to wear a reflector at night, even if they are just crossing the street!

  3. think about it if you don’t think of your life and that of your family and kids at least think of the tzar that it will give the driver to hit you
