PHOTOS: Local businesses, residents donate thousands of dollars in appliances, clothing and more to fire victims

After hearing about the family who lost everything to a fire last week in Lakewood, local business owners and others stepped forward to donate furniture, toys, home appliances and more to help the family get back on their feet.

Yesterday, police officers, along with Special Operations Coordinator Ben Inzelbuch, went down to the warehouse to pick up the items and delivered them to the family – bringing a smile to their faces.

The officers also delivered bags of clothing donated by local residents through the bin at Lakewood Police headquarters.

  1. Wow. I never cease to be astonished, humbled, almost, at the generosity of the reside ts of Lakewood. Thisbis an amazing outpouring of deep and true compassion for a fellow Twsp resident. Beautiful. And Ben Inzelbuch is, quietly, one the true Tzaddikim of our town. Way to go, Ben !! Tizku L’Mitzvos !!
